The Dotworkz 2.4GHz Sidekick Wireless D2 camera enclosure combines unmatched protection from the environment, vandalism or physical damage with the portability and cost-effectiveness of wireless connectivity. This all-in-one, easy to install unit was engineered to overcome all obstacles faced when deploying broadband remote camera surveillance and monitoring systems. It integrates Dotworkz’s most popular wireless system, the Sidekick 802.11b/g Wireless Camera Station, directly into the D2 enclosure. This allows it to function as either a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint system transmitting real-time digital data from IP network cameras directly to any compatible Access Point (AP) with 802.11b/g support or Dotworkz Sidekick Base Station for a throughput of up to 54Mbps.

Trouble-Free Relocation
You can easily reposition the camera system from one location to the next in minutes without the need of advanced technical staffing. Once the station is paired with its access point (AP) or base station on a frequency of 2.4GHz it is up and ready. This on-the-fly portability makes it ideal for temporary installations, such as urban police surveillance or monitoring construction sites, museum exhibits or public events.
