Mountain View, April 20, 2011 – PureWave Networks, Inc., a rapidly growing provider of advanced 4G wireless base stations, today announced that it has been selected by Mercury Wireless as the operator’s wireless broadband infrastructure provider. Mercury Wireless, whose network spans 4,000 sq. miles in rural Kansas, will use PureWave Quantum 6636 Mobile WiMAX base stations to provide broadband and voice services to new and existing customers. The company ultimately intends to migrate its entire network from its existing wireless equipment provider to the high-performance PureWave solution.
