The Model MB24-SP17 is a 2.4GHz sector antenna designed primarily for use at Wireless Internet Point of Presence (WIPOP) base sites. It is used to provide segmented coverage over a selected area and features a 90° horizontal beamwidth. It offers higher gain than omni antennas and overcomes the problem of the narrow beamwidths of these antennas which oftentimes shoot over the heads of remote users.
