The AG 5500 Metro Gateway is a high performance networking device, powered by the Nomadix Service Engine™ (NSE) Core software and pre-bundled with essential modules optimized for HotZone deployments.

The AG 5500 Metro supports up to 4,000 simultaneous users and is transport agnostic, capable of supporting either wired or Wi-Fi networks, including Mesh and WiMAX technologies.

The AG 5500 Metro is a standard 1U high, rack mountable device that employs one fast Ethernet port to interface with the router (network side) and two fast Ethernet ports to interface with the aggregation equipment (subscriber side) within the HotSpot/HotZone. The AG 5500 Metro has one DB9 serial ports for Management and to a hotel's Property Management System.
