The ORiNOCO Range Extender Antenna is an indoor antenna designed to extend coverage and increase performance of ORiNOCO wireless LAN networks. The ORiNOCO Range Extender Antenna is especially useful in extending coverage when the integrated antennas of PC cards are concealed or shielded. The Range Extender Antenna can be used with almost all of ORiNOCO's wireless networking infrastructure and client products, including access points and servers.
Extended range comes out of the closet. Access Points are often placed in closed wiring closets or mounted in difficult locations, with the PC Card obstructed by objects such as books, file cabinets or other office equipment. The Range Extender Antenna can overcome such obstacles by being placed at a location more receptive to radio signals.
The Range Extender Antenna can be placed on a table surface or mounted on the ceiling or wall. Equipped with a standard 1.5-meter cable, mounting and installation options are extremely flexible.
