- Each end transmits at one frequency and receives at another frequency simultaneously, hence the need for “pairs” of frequencies.

- Proxim uses channel designators such as A1 and A2 as a matched pair. Some products have several channel pairs (e.g. A1/A2. B1/B2, etc.)
